Originally from Muncie, Indiana, John began his legal career in 1967as an associate in one of Evansville’s larger law firms. Although John soon became a partner in the firm, he eventually became frustrated with practicing law in a large firm. Realizing he needed a change, he opened his own practice in 1982. John approaches the practice of law by attempting to place himself in the position of his clients. He strives for understandable documents, thorough communication, high ethics, and reasonable billing. As our firm’s senior law partner, John insists that these concepts are considered in every aspect of our firm.

John believes deeply in giving back to the community. He has been involved in numerous community and church activities since his arrival in Evansville in 1967. He is a stickler for detail and preparation. John’s father taught him at an early age that “if you do a good job of gathering facts, the decisions will come easily.”
